Procedural Volumetric Clouds - Part I

Last year I spent some months studying and building a procedural system in Houdini to create different shapes of realistic 3D volumetric clouds and this is the result!

The goal was to create realistic clouds to fill different scenarios, such as skies, environments, etc, with just a few clicks to make different shapes of them. This system allows you to export a different cloud for each frame you render.
Also, you can create different types of clouds such as cirrus, cumulus, or base/plane clouds mixing the base or the central shape of the main geo. I added 3 different levels of density too to have more control over them.

With this setup, I don't have to care anymore about finding the perfect clouds and photo bashing them for my DMP or Environment works, as I have total control over them!
Some of the renders you see here are made with Mantra and Octane Render.

I hope you like them!
