Exploring the new World Creator 2025.1 BETA
I’ve been testing the latest beta version of World Creator 2025.1, and there are some really exciting improvements for environment artists. In this video, I go through some of the new features and how they can impact the real-time workflow for terrain creation.
Some of the highlights so far:
- Refined erosion and sediment simulation
- More control over procedural layers and blending
- Noticeably faster viewport interaction
- New object placing system with infinite scattering options
- Improved terrain detail at larger scales
It feels like World Creator is getting closer and closer to becoming a complete real-time terrain solution, and this beta is a big step forward.
