Japan 1600

Hello my people!

I want to share with you one of the most ambitious projects I've done in the past weeks.

This is the result of the project I did for the 3D matte painting course by Steven Cormann at Learn Squared

It's a 271 frames video with tons of 3D stuff + 2D matte painting. I wanted to create something similar to a movie intro inspired in the Edo Japanese times.

Made with Cinema 4D, rendered with Octane Render, postproduction with Photoshop and After Effects.
Used the models from the awesome kit Edo Japan by KitBash3d.

I learned a lot from one of my favourite matte painters in the industry. I hope you like it!
